Answer to Question 2

Four of the steps offered were: remember your journalism roots, tighten up the
nuts and bolts, envision your event from start to finish, and make it special. Remembering your
journalism roots means you remember to answer who, what, when, where, and why. Tightening
up the nuts and bolts means you complete a cost-benefit analysis of the necessities of the event
and identify key contacts to begin building relationships. Envision your event from start to finish
means you picture each detail of the event and how those details will appeal to your target
audiences as well as accomplish your goals. Make it special means that you create an event that
will be memorable to those who attend.

The viruses in the flu shot are killed—there is no way they can give you the flu. Minor side effects include soreness, redness, or swelling where the shot was given. It is possible to develop a slight fever, and body aches, but these are simply signs that the body is responding to the vaccine and making itself ready to fight off the influenza virus should you come in contact with it.
