samples from a suspect and the possible Fourth Amendment unreasonable search
and seizure. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit held in Coddington v.
Evanko (2005) that taking hair samples from a visible part of a suspect's body does
not invade any reasonable expectation of privacy, and is thus not a Fourth
Amendment search.
