Answer to Question 1

Answer: At the individual level, situational prevention especially focuses on burglary and motor vehicle theft and takes the form of target hardening: efforts to make residences and businesses more difficult to burglarize, and motor vehicles less vulnerable to theft of the vehicle and/or of its contents. These efforts include stronger locks, burglar alarms, and other home security measures.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: There are many times of fraud. This chapter discusses identity theft, tax fraud, insurance fraud, and cybercrime. Fraud involves deceit or trickery used for financial gain or for some other material advantage.
