Answer to Question 1

The deteriorated egg should have a thinner albumin over the yolk, a more flattened appearance, off-centered yolk, and large air cell, while the fresh egg should display a thick albumin over the yolk, centered yolk, and smaller air cell.

Answer to Question 2

A deteriorated egg will display a larger air cell due to moisture loss. The air cell will continue to grow as the egg deteriorates further.
