What is the sequence of events in CO2 and O2 transport by erythrocytes in the blood?
  1.Red cells pick up O2 in the lungs, drop it off at cells, pick up CO2 and drop it at lungs.
  2.Red cells pick up O2 in the cells, drop it off at lungs, pick up CO2 and drop it at cells.
