 a. drink carbonated beverages without caffeine.
  b. ingest milk and fresh cheeses in place of yogurt and aged cheeses.
  c. limit eating to three meals a day to minimize stimulation of the bowel.
  d. drink diluted fruit juices and sport drinks to replace the potassium lost in diarrhea.
