Answer: Authenticity is the extent to which a person feels aligned to his or her true self.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: High self-monitors try to fit into different social situations. Low self-monitors do not. A high self-monitor would likely whisper in a library because that is what other people are doing, whereas a low self-monitor might continue to talk at his or her regular volume.
