Young people are focused on short term goals. Their 40s or 50s may seem like a long way off. Many young people rely on sports scholarships to help pay for college. They will try anything to get an advantage to get a scholarship. They don't seem the effects of steroids on the hormone or circulatory systems from the outside of the body, so they are not aware of the effects that are going on within the body.
