All of the following are correct about phytosterols except:
 a. they may reduce blood cholesterol when consumed as part of a low-fat diet.
  b. they are structurally similar to the steroid hormones.
  c. they are found in all margarines made from vegetable oils.
  d. they block the absorption of dietary cholesterol from the intestine.

They serve as antioxidants. These vitamins will react with toxic free radicals that are produced as a result of aerobic cellular respiration. The free radicals will be neutralized by the vitamins into less toxic forms in the body. This will result in lower levels of inflammation in the tissues.
Vitamin C is found in citric fruits and brightly colored vegetables such as sweet peppers.
Vitamin E is found in vegetable oils, seeds, and nuts.
