Answer to Question 1

F

Answer to Question 2

The Body Volume Index system uses a device that measures the relative density of body tissue. The device takes thin sections of the body and shows the relative densities within the sections. Lean tissue is denser than body fat and would show up as more dense. A person who has more lean body tissue will have more areas of densities on the display from the body volume index analyzer. The traditional BMI value compares height and weight only. It does not account for the differing densities of body tissue. A person with more muscle mass has more weight relative to height and appears to have a higher BMI. This may be incorrectly interpreted as excess body fat.
