Answer to Question 1

Evaluation methods include tracking changes in volume or net profit, referral sources, and customer satisfaction. In this step of the marketing process, you need to ask the following questions: Are you accomplishing your goals? Who benefited from the service? What changes in knowledge, attitudes, and practices occurred? What are the actual costs of providing the service? What changes are warranted to make the service more effective in the future?

Answer to Question 2

A market niche is the particular area of service or the particular product suited to the specific clients to be reached. The underlying philosophy is that you cannot be all things to all people, so you must find the spot that fits your objectives and goals and enables you to meet a particular unmet need.
