Environmental factors include inadequate housing, inadequate cooking facilities, and lack of transportation. Socioeconomic factors include cultural beliefs, poverty, limited education, literacy level, limited access to health care, and institutionalizatio n.

Answer to Question 2

The grassroots pyramid has a base of fence-sitters. The next layer is comprised of banner carriers and critics. The third level includes willing workers; the fourth is party people; and power players are in the peak level.
