Examples of areas related to nutrition and weight status include increasing the proportion of physician office visits made by patients with a diagnosis of heart disease, diabetes, or hyper lipidemia that include counseling or education related to diet and nutrition; increasing the proportion of work sites that offer nutrition or weight-management classes or counseling; increasing the proportion of adults who are at a healthy weight; and reducing household food insecurity and in so doing reducing hunger.
