Avoid honey and foods containing food allergens. Supplement the diet with vitamins K and D and sources of iron or iron-fortified foods. Introduce solid foods gradually and only after all the developmental milestones have been observed. Avoid providing too much fiber and excessive amounts of fruit juice.
