Amylase digests carbohydrate; lipase digests fat; trypsin, chymotrypsin, and carboxypeptidase digest protein. Note that the pancreas also produces two hormones that regulate blood glucoseinsulin and glucagonas well as bicarbonate, which neutralizes HCl in the stomach.
