Answer to Question 1

A

Answer to Question 2

Internal waves travel along the boundary between waters of different density. Wind-generated waves form at the surface boundary between the atmosphere and sea. Internal waves can be much larger than surface waves, with heights exceeding 100 meters (330 feet). The largest measured surface waves were 34 meters (112 feet) high, by the U.S. Navy tanker USS Ramapo in 1933. Surface wave heights in a sea area are usually less than 2 meters (6.6 feet), but waves with heights of 10 meters (33 feet) and periods of 12 seconds are not uncommon.

Drug abusers experience the following scenario: The pleasure given by their drug (or drugs) of choice is so strong that it is difficult to eradicate even after years of staying away from the substances involved. Certain triggers may cause a drug abuser to relapse. Research shows that long-term drug abuse results in significant changes in brain function that persist long after an individual stops using drugs. It is most important to realize that the same is true of not just illegal substances but alcohol and tobacco as well.
