Acetoacetyl-CoA reacts with acetyl-CoA to give product A in the presence of 3-hydroxy-3-methyl-glutaryl-CoA synthetase. Identify the special feature of this reaction.
 a. It is enantioselective, and only the S enantiomer is formed.
 b. It is enantioselective, and only the R enantiomer is formed.
 c. It produces a non-superposable R enantiomer.

The two differences between Claisen and Aldol condensations are as follows:
1 . In the case of Claisen condensations, hydroxides cannot be used as a base as they could react with esters, while for Aldol condensations, hydroxides can be used.
2 . In Aldol condensations, no group is lost, but in the case of Claisen condensations, an alkoxide group is lost.
