Answer to Question 1

As people of different cultures interact via foreign travel or relocation they absorb the behaviors
and cultures of the new country they visit or now live. In fashion companies such as Macy's may
use this as a theme for seasonal merchandising as they are with the Mexico theme this spring
(2012). Other cultures may bring their influence to the U.S. for example the Zumba
dance/exercise craze that many athletic companies use to target consumers, such as Nike and
Lululemon with athletic apparel that is functional and fashionable.

Answer to Question 2
