4 . Enhanced security and coordination throughout the supply chain.
All of these advantages increases productivity, profits, efficiency, lowering expenses and
shrinkage.
Drawbacks might include the expense to implement, the time factor, and the possibility of
competitors tracking a company's products.

distribution as well as production and merchandising of the their products and brand image.
