Answer to Question 1

ANSWER: Dependable rituals help alert the child that separation is approaching, even though it may be difficult emotionally. The child builds trust that after the good-bye ritual and the separation the family member does come back. Slipping out destroys the childs trust in the family member and instills more anxiety that the parent may leave any time the child gets engaged in an activity.

Answer to Question 2

ANSWER: Fast; easy; gather data on every child in the class; specific to what information is needed; can be used to gather a variety of types of information

This condition is progressive and worsens with time. More than 100 million people in the United States are nearsighted, but only 20% of those are born with the condition. Diet, eye exercise, drug therapy, and corrective lenses can all help manage nearsightedness.
