Answer to Question 1

Tightening of airways and muscles causes difficulty breathing. In addition to shortness of breath, an increase in breathing rate can occur, and the child may be either irritable or listless. The child may also have a more rapid speech pattern, dark circles under the eyes, and a fever. Wheezing, coughing, and spitting up of mucus may also occur.

Answer to Question 2

Other health impairments is defined as having limited strength, vitality or alertness, including a heightened alertness to environmental stimuli that results in limited alertness.. The other health impairments category includes asthma, ADD and AD/HD, diabetes, and epilepsy.
