Answer to Question 1

If the only place a poor child is eating properly is at the early childhood education environment, the burden of helping the hungry child is on the teacher. The teacher must ensure that the child gets as many nutrients as possible in the meals and snacks served at the care environment. The hunger of a child may also cause conditions that the teacher would have to work with, such as diminished health and cognitive difficulties.

Answer to Question 2
