Answer to Question 1

A

Answer to Question 2

Anorexia nervosa is marked by weight loss (or failure to gain weight in youth who are still growing) leading to a body weight of less than 85 of that expected. Despite low weight, individuals with anorexia nervosa have an intense fear of gaining weight or becoming fat. They may also have a disturbance in the way in which they experience their body weight or shape, place extreme importance on their body weight or shape as measures of self-evaluation, deny the seriousness of their low body weight, and/or stop having menstrual periods as a consequence of low body weight. In the restricting type, individuals do not engage in binge eating or purging behavior. In the binge eating/purging type, people do engage in regular binge eating or purging behavior.
