How would you answer the question Are there other basic motives underlying social behavior? In other words, do the five motives identified in the textbook encompass all social behavior? Explain your answer.

Answer: Possible examples include (1) Business: sales professionals, leadership styles; (2) Medicine: areas of health psychology, such as using influence strategies to encourage the adoption of healthy behavior; (3) Law: decision-making processes in juries, stealing thunder by lawyers.
