Answer to Question 1

Answer:
Similarity is very important for making a relationship last. Not only do couples who are initially similar have longer relationships, but their similarities may also mean they become more similar overtime. Based on this information Ian is the person with whom she would likely have the longest relationship. Marcus may have money and prestige, but ultimately those things that make him different or unique from her might become annoying and she will be disenchanted when she realizes how these differences might play out over the longer term.

Answer to Question 2

Answer:
Happy people experience more tangible benefits. They are likely to have better work outcomes, be more productive, produce higher quality work, have a higher income, and are more rapidly promoted. Happy people also have more friends, more satisfying romantic relationships, and stronger social support networks. In addition, happy people also have better health, fewer physical symptoms and are able to deal more effectively with pain and illness. There is also a lower incidence of depression, quicker recovery from surgery, and they actually live longer than people who have lower levels of happiness.
