Answer: The tendency for observers to overestimate the causal influence of personality factors on behavior and to underestimate the causal role of situational influence.

Answer: Need for structure is the extent to which people are motivated to organize their mental and physical worlds in simple ways. People who are high on this trait tend to use more mental shortcuts than those who are low and are more prone to inaccurate judgments.
