Answer to Question 1

Answer: Evolutionary psychology can be used to generate novel hypotheses about human social behavior that can be tested using research methods such as experiments, correlational designs, or observational studies.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: Dr. Fodor should try to replicate his findings across people and situations. In order to replicate across people, he may choose to conduct his study using participants from other age groups, those who are not college students, and even participants in other cultures. To replicate in other situations, Dr. Fodor would want to assign different types of problems, such as word problems, or even examine tasks that pairs perform in a workplace setting.
