Answer to Question 1

The elderly individual can be sure to get plenty of exercise and cognitive stimulation,
and he or she should stay on a healthy diet and get plenty of vitamins C and E.
There may be some benefit in taking some amounts of aspirin or ibuprofen.
Overmedication should be prevented, and mental health should be maintained.

Answer to Question 2

Elements of lifestyle that could delay the onset of dementia include regular exercise
to improve circulation and an appropriate diet and medication to prevent or control
