Answer to Question 1

Gender identity is a relatively broad term that indicates a person's acceptance of the
roles and behaviors that society imposes upon the biological categories of being
male or female. For example, if a person has a penis, scrotum, testes, chest hair,
and a deep voice, and chooses to wear pants and shirts, he identifies himself as
male. Gender roles, as a subcategory of gender identity, refers to specific patterns of
behavior that apply to males and females. For example, women are allowed to wear
makeup and typically wait to be asked out on a date rather than be the one doing the
asking. Sexual orientation refers to the person's sexual and romantic attractions,
whether to the same sex (homosexual), the opposite sex (heterosexual), or both
(bisexual).

Although the Roman numeral for the number 4 has always been taught to have been "IV," according to historians, the ancient Romans probably used "IIII" most of the time. This is partially backed up by the fact that early grandfather clocks displayed IIII for the number 4 instead of IV. Early clockmakers apparently thought that the IIII balanced out the VIII (used for the number 8) on the clock face and that it just looked better.
