What are some of the gross motor skills that most 5-year-olds have mastered?

The corpus collosum is a band of nerve fibers that connects the two hemispheres of
the brain. It is essential to the communication between the two sides of the brain,
resulting in children coordinating both sides of their bodies. If the corpus collosum
does not develop correctly, serious disorders, including autism, could result.
