If parents and teachers want students to succeed in school, they should
 
  A) always tell students who do well that it's because they're so smart.
  B) always help students get over failures by telling them that it isn't their fault, they're just not good in that particular subject.
  C) encourage students to try things at which they might fail, but then tell them to work harder if they do.
  D) punish failure severely, so students will learn to work harder.
