The amount and accuracy of information that children spontaneously recall about past events decreases substantially after about two years time. Why is this research finding important?
 
  a. It proves that children do not have good recall memory.
  b. It shows that parents should remind their children of past events more frequently, particularly when it involves fun memories that the children would like to have later on in life.
