These situations often result in partners who have difficulty making another commitment. Other couples have difficulties establishing cohesion, or the emotional ties that bind families together, because of the lack of a shared family history. Finally, unless remarrying couples address communication problemsnear the top of the list of reasons why people seek divorcethey run the risk of carrying the same problems into a subsequent marriage.
