In the General Motors 2-mode transmission what is mode one used for?
 
  A) Mode one operates in cold weather B) Move the vehicle from standstill to 2nd gear

Question 2

Technician A says that automatic transmissions use hydraulic pressure to apply and release friction components inside the transmission. Technician B says that HEVs use electric pumps to circulate transmission fluid with the internal combustion engine is in idle-stop mode. Which technician is correct?
