Answer: Although its pose resembles that of the athlete Doryphoros, the sculpture of Augustus of Primavera represents a great military ruler idealized as a near deity.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: The Romans perfected the arch and the dome, and they developed the use of concrete as a building material.
