Answer: The ideal answer should include:
1. Metallic salts are added to the blown glass during manufacture.
2. Artisans blow the glass into different colors and roll the glass into pieces.
3. These pieces are cut into fragments and assembled over a drawing marked out in chalk dust.
4. The fragments are joined by strips of lead and by iron bands.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: Fabric can be used to fill a three-dimensional space in the way carpet fills a room or clothing covers a body.
