Answer to Question 1

Concise writing, short paragraphs, and a conversational style are expected by an online audience that may only scan a webpage looking quickly for information they need. In general, web pages contain less writing and more interactivity than other ways to connect with customers. Bulleted text, short sentences, and links to useful information help to keep the reader engaged rather than overwhelmed. A good web page is highly skimmable, with appealing graphics, clear headings, and links to encourage people to read more or visit other parts of the website.

Answer to Question 2

a. Content errors. Read the document to ensure that it makes sense. You may find places where data were accidentally deleted during the revision stage.
b. Typographical errors. Slowly read the document to find typographical errors, such as an error that happened to result in a word, which a spellchecker would not detect. Check proper names and all statistical data.
c. Format errors. Visually inspect the document to ensure that its appearance is professional and that all required parts are in their respective locations.
