Most new college graduates do not use the chronological format for rsums. Chronological
rsums are appropriate when you have a steady work history and work experience in your
field of interest.

Using action verbs in your rsum to describe your work responsibilities makes you seem
more competent and qualified. Active verbs should be used to provide specific descriptions of
your job responsibilities.
