Kenneth and Carla, a married couple, were initially in love. However, they grew emotionally apart over the years, but have decided to remain together for the sake of their children. Identify, and explain the type of marriage present in this scenario.

As the years go by, they spend time togetherraising the children, entertaining, and meeting community responsibilitiesbut begin to do so out of obligation rather than love. They get along and, as a result, don't want a divorce. One or both partners may be unhappy, but they are both committed to staying married.
