Use the complement method to find the single discount equivalent of the series discount 10/15/20.

What does a series discount of 10/15/20 mean?

Answer to Question 1

0.388 or 38.8;
1 - (0.9  0.85  0.8 ) = 0.388 or 38.8

Answer to Question 2

10 reduction, a 15 reduction on the remainder, and then a 20 reduction on what is left
