Answer to Question 1

1. Rejected stalkers want to reverse, correct, or avenge rejection of their affections, infatuation, or love. This type of stalking either begins as the perpetrator senses the relationship is about to end, or after the couple has separated and/or terminated the relationship.
2. Intimacy seekers desire to establish an intimate, loving relationship with their victim. They believe that their victim is their one-and-only soul mate, and that fate has brought them together.
3. Incompetent suitors commonly have poor social and emotional skills, and have difficulty expressing themselves. They develop a fixation on someone they feel romantically attracted to. In most cases, however, the victim is already in a relationship with someone else.
4. Resentful stalkers are out for vengeance because they believe they were wronged by their victim. This type of stalking is motivated primarily by the desire to frighten the victim and cause her or him distress.
5. Predatory stalkers spy on the victim in order to plan a sexual attack.

Daylight saving time is used in some islands, but not in others—further shifting the hours out of sync with natural time.
