Answer to Question 1

a. 0.18
b. 0.62
c. 0.36

Answer to Question 2

a. 0
b. 0.70
c. No. P(A and B) = 0 because they are mutually exclusive events. If they were independent events, you would have P(A and B) = P(A)  P(B) = 0.12.
