Recently, a marketing research company reported that based on a random sample of 300 households the mean number of trips to a major shopping mall per month per household is 4.12 trips.
 
  This value is referred to as a parameter and is subject to sampling error. Indicate whether the statement is true or false

Question 2

At the 0.05 level of significance, test the null hypothesis that the mean percentage rates are the same for all three funds.

H0 : A = B = C
H1 : At least two of the population means are not the same.
Since the p-value = 0.004 <  = 0.05, we reject the null hypothesis that the three population means are equal. We conclude that at least two population means differ.
