Answer to Question 1

C

Answer to Question 2

The 95 confidence interval for the mean difference is (0.267, 0.646 ).
The confidence interval for the mean difference does not contain 0. Therefore, the null hypothesis is rejected and hence, it can be concluded that the mean success rate of the students has increased after the orientation program. This is the same conclusion obtained using the paired t-test.
