The binomial distribution is a discrete probability distribution. Outcomes are
integers 1, 2, 3,n where n is the number of trials for the binomial random variable. The normal distribution is a continuous probability distribution with a bell-shaped curve describing the shape of the distribution. A normal random variable can take on an infinite number of values within an interval.
