Determine if it is appropriate to use the normal distribution to approximate a binomial
  distribution when n = 5 and p = 0.1.
 
  What will be an ideal response?

IQ test scores are normally distributed with a mean of 104 and a standard deviation of 17. An
  individual's IQ score is found to be 115. Find the z-score corresponding to this value.
