Does Section 702 allow a religious organization to refuse to hire or to continue in employment individuals that are not members of the religious organization where the positions involved are non-religious jobs?

Yes. After the 1972 amendments, Section 702 allows religious organizations to refuse to hire such individuals; that is, these religious organizations are allowed to discriminate on religious grounds for nonreligious jobs.
