Answer to Question 1

ADR methods generally reach a conclusion in less time which causes less business disruption and costs less than litigation. Often, both sides will be more satisfied with the results of ADR because they will have had more opportunity to give input and more control over whether or not to accept the results. A compromise is more likely in ADR than in litigation. Some forms of ADR such as mediation keep the process confidential.
