MRI therapists assume that whatever family members are doing with each other is not working, so systemically doing the opposite is one possibility. Two parents have been arguing with an unreasonable daughter. One option for strategic therapists might be:
 
  A. Design an intervention that removes the parents from the fight and helps them to become unreasonable
  B. Teach the child to argue reasonably and have the parents acknowledge her
  C. Have one parent give directives and the other parent tell the child not to do it
  D. Remove the child from the home for a cooling off period
