Counseling your mother is unethical and generally a bad idea, because:
 
  A. She still thinks you are a lawyer, living and working in New York, and dating that nice stock broker
  B. She has never paid you back for the money you loaned her, so why would you expect her to pay you for therapy?
  C. She will tell your dad and older sister everything
  D. Its a dual relationship that is as messy as messy can get (and you know how much your mother hates messes)
